I have over 18 years of experience working across a wide range of productions in various roles within the Sound Department, both in studios and on outside broadcasts. I have a solid understanding of these platforms and am always eager to expand my knowledge. I adhere to risk assessments, take direction from Directors, Producers, and Floor Managers, and collaborate effectively with production teams, guests, and presenters.

After completing Sound Supervisor training with ITV, I developed strong technical expertise and honed my interpersonal skills, including attending planning meetings, identifying potential audio challenges, and providing production-friendly audio solutions.

I am highly proficient in using Spot On Audio as a playback source and am confident navigating most multitrack audio recording software. I can efficiently populate ISO recordings to streamline the process of locating audio files. My experience includes working with radio microphones, effects microphones, desk microphones, IEMs, and radio communication systems, as well as installing and operating Riedel communication systems. While I have primarily worked with Riedel setups and Calrec desks, I am equally comfortable with a variety of other audio and communication systems.


TRAINING

ITV – Sound Supervisor training from staff ITV Norths Head of Sound. Working closely with Directors, Production teams and the Studio Operations department to ensure technical demands of production are met as well as aiding in their crew scheduling to ensure a strong and competent team. 
Calrec – Calrec lead course learning how to build Calrec systems from scratch using the Artemis, Apollo and Suma consoles. 
Riedel - Riedel training session – organised and attended departmental training sessions as well as on the job experience operating and editing Riedel communication systems 
TED AV – mentoring from line manager and training week to increase technical knowledge plus introduction to specific equipment for the job. 
Health and Safety Training - run by 1st Option Safety Services which specialised in health and safety for broadcasting media.
